Q: How do I know when my roof needs replacing?

A: The age of the roof is a big determining factor. If your roof is over 15 years old you should consider getting an inspection. Check for any major leaks which are usually indicated by staining or discoloring of your ceiling. Heavy granule loss and curling shingle edges or missing shingle tabs are the next things to look out for as these can be easily spotted from the ground. Sometimes the problem may not be visible from the outside. So check your attic for any leaks or water staining that may have gone unnoticed or if any light penetration is visible around your vents and chimney. If you spot these problems on your roof give us a call or schedule an appointment.

Q: I have a leak, does that mean I need a full replacement?

A: Not necessarily. Most roofs need routine maintenance in order to prolong their lifespan. This means that a repair may be needed at some point. If these problems aren't widespread a simple repair may solve the problem.

Q: Will my rates go up if I file a claim?

A: No, it will not directly cause an increase due to the fact that your premium is determined by a number of other factors such as geographical location, local crime rate, etc.

Q: Will my insurance cover my roof repair or replacement?

A: We have experience in dealing with insurance claims. We can determine whether or not a claim should be filed or not by completing a full roof inspection.

Q: Do you have to remove my current roof?

A:  Yes, we do not install roofs over already existing systems because it compromises our system. We always tear our roof down to the wooden sheathing and install a whole new system.

Q: How much does a new roof cost?

A: Cost varies greatly between different systems depending on things such as the materials used, size of the roof, pitch, and other factors. The best thing to do is schedule an appointment to get a proper quote.

Q: Do you offer roof financing?

A: Yes we do. It is subject to credit approval but we have multiple options to fit your budget.

Q: How long does it take to repair or replace a roof?

A: The completion time depends on the work scope. For a full replacement from start to finish we usually take a day or two on an average sized home.

Q: Is there anything I need to do before the roofing project starts?

A: Your property will turn into a construction zone once the process begins. It will become noisy and messy, which is inevitable so we recommend you move anything from the yard that you are afraid will be damaged. Park your vehicle somewhere other than the driveway to avoid any damage from falling debris or nails in the driveway. This also makes it easier for the supplier to deliver the materials. We always make sure to tarp off the property to catch the majority of the debris and protect your property. By the time the project is complete, all of the debris will be gone leaving your property looking like we were never there.
